Founded in 1983, HOGN Electrical Group Co., Ltd. is a large non-regional group integrating Research, Development, Manufacturing and Trading together. A leading provider of services for power transmission and distribution systems. With a registered capital of 200.7 million yuan, HOGN manages several wholly-owned and holding subsidiaries. It has established two major R&D and production bases in Yueqing, Zhejiang, and Wuhu, Anhui. HOGN mainly produces and operates electrical power fittings, composite insulators, lightning arresters, disconnecting switches, fuse cut-outs, amorphous transformers, oil-immersed transformers, complete sets of switchgear for HV and LV transmission and distribution, electric energy metering box, intelligent fault indicator, vacuum circuit breaker, intelligent electrical products and other primary and secondary equipment. Products are widely used in various fields such as power grid systems, new energy, petrochemicals, rail transit, and mobile communications. HOGN employs nearly 1,000 people, including more than 160 technicians, more than 20 senior engineers and 100 intermediate engineers. HOGN’s annual output value reaches 1.1 billion yuan, with an R&D investment of 30 million yuan. HOGN has successfully developed a data control center, manufacturing execution system (MES), and energy management system independently. HOGN has also established standardized production processes and a perfect quality control management system. HOGN’s laboratory is CNAS certified, and products have passed the tests of China Electric Power Research Institute, Wuhan High Voltage Research Institute, Xi'an High Voltage Electrical Apparatus Research Institute, etc., and obtained many international certifications such as KEMA certification, UL certification, BV certification etc. It also have passed ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001 international quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety system certifications, PCCC certification, and AAA-rated standardized good behavior recognition. HOGN has obtained over 300 patents and has participated in the formulation of more than 60 international, national, and industry standards.
